The Sanyo upright lives again!

After some customization to a suction fan that was a close fit (drilling, sanding, etc) the Sanyo lives again! Its a nice, healthy sounding machine with reasonably good suction and maneuverability. A type A Hoover bag fit nicely and a Panasonic belt was also a great match for it. Once of my new favorites!

Very nice!  Is this a vacuum that's been in your collection a while?  What's the vintage on it?

Its been in my collection for a while and it took forever to find a fan that would work. I believe it to be early to late 70's. There is very little info on it at all, and I don't know of anyone else that has one.
