BEAUTIFUL!!!

However, it's a Golden Jubilee or Golden J or just Jubilee, not a Super J -- those are two different models.

The Golden Jubilee was Electrolux's 50th anniversary and came out in 1974. It had a white hose with blue and light-brown tracing.

The Super J followed. It had a more powerful motor and the hose was gold with blue and white tracing.

The hoses have always seemed backward to me -- I think the Golden Jubilee should have had the gold hose!

Thanks Charles.....

For the response and reminding me that it is a Golden Jubilee ,
I guess that's why it's A Gold Colour:)))
I bought this vacuum from the original owner.
I do have the original hose, PN, both sets if wands and of course the floor/rug flip Nozzel .
It's runs good, but I think I'm gonna put a new set of carbon brushes in the motor.
Is that an easy or difficult job with this vacuum?

Brad

That is a model 1205 at heart, so I don't imagine it would be all that difficult to change the carbons on it. The biggest issue you might run into is the power distribution block inside the housing. I serviced and cleaned a regular turquoise 1205 for a friend sometime ago and it wasn't difficult to access the motor at all, just had to work around that block. Good luck with it and that is a beautiful machine! I have a 50th golden jubilee but she's not nearly in the shape your machine is in!
