The latest addition to my toilet collection.

I have no clue, let's say L is for lavatory! Or perhaps L is secret potty code for 12, as in the 12th model in production or offered in 1959, or maybe even December!

The pictures above are of the underside of the circa 1959 "Standard" Compact Cadet, not the 1962 Kohler Wellworth.

I'm gonna venture a guess and say May 4th 1959. My Cadet has a regular year stamped Into it though, as well as a letter with a 59 at the end of it. Mine was December 9th (I think) 1959.

That's awesome!

I have a 1959 "Standard" Cadet (Compact) in Suez Tan just like Gusherb! Sometime this week I will get footage of the "Standard" attempting to flush various things such as golf balls and a full freezer tray full of ice. You can see the Wellworth flush on my YT channel, TheUniversalDave1.

If any of y'all are interested, I've gradually been remodeling my bathroom and found this antique gem sitting outside of a thrift shop. I think it looks great in the room. I just need to find a tank lid as this one's is missing.

The tank is dated January 19, 1960 and it is a Rheem-Richmond. It flushes an aquarium, so I think the plunger in the corner will merely be a decoration.

Cool find! I hope you find a tank lid for it and get that leak on it to stop!

You should throw that plunger in the trash now that you have that water guzzler!

Clayton, it's time to play.... THE LUXY1205 GAME!!, where you have to explain the backstory on your collection! Seriously, I'm sure it'll be fun to hear about when and where you got all those pottys!

I got a circa 1959 American-Standard Lexington in the same color as the Compact Cadet today at the Restore for $20.00. It happened under mysterious circumstances. I went back to the House of Vacuums in high hopes of repossessing my Sanitaire, which was unsuccessful. Since I waw all irritated and stuff, I went to the Restore to vent. That's when I found the circa 1959 American-Standard Lexington.

Standard toilets under mercury vapor

I got my 1959 American-Standard Lexington in Venetian Pink all cleaned up, and it's chillin' under my new 175 watt mercury vapor cobrahead.
