The last of our holiday gastronomic excesses

Today marks the last of our holiday gastronomic excesses - with New Year's Day breakfast.

I made home-made buttermilk biscuits, eggs scrambled with whipped cream left over from last night's lemon pie, and the last of the ham heated up on the stove-top griddle. Don't those grill lines look nice!

Here are some photos of breakfast, as well as some of our furry loved-ones. I didn't get any of Dixie Sue because she was asleep in her little kitty bed.

Later, we're going to the park to start walking off our gluttony.
