Hi Guys! I've had a problem with the tools for several of my old GE canisters shrinking so that they no longer fit onto the hose or wands. Has anyone else encountered this problem, and if so, have any ideas on how to fix it? Any help would be GREATLY appriciated! Thanks, Trg

Must be that tropical Georgia climate...

Well, the older GE tools such as for the Roll-Easy and Swiveltops are made of GE's Cycloac plastic. You might try soaking them in the sink in VERY hot water and then forcing them onto the wands to dry.

My GE tools still fit fine but I have done this with other plastic tools that were reluctant to fit.

Actually I have come across that problem with several older machines (most notably the plastic parts on the early GE's / Premiers, Goblin and Siroma Eng. machines) It was something to do with the type of plastic used. Not really much you can do about it that I know of. LOL - the parts become display only.
