Hi Keith,

Thank you for sharing these beautiful Eurekas with us! If I remember correctly, the Wide-Trak's attachment sets came in a special caddy because the pan converter and floor brush were extra wide. It could even be that I remember seeing some retro cardboard tool caddy for these extra wide Eurekas. Maybe our residence Eureka researcher Paul could find some picture of this special Wide-Trak attachment set? :-)

Hey Keith - great to see you posting at VL again after a long hiatus! And what a stunning way to make your reappearance with a set of one of Eureka's best vintage TOL sets in the beautiful Brandywine enamel! Wow!

I have seen only one other collector, Konstellationz_Karl_55, with a Eureka color set who has most of the Wild Moss main line (excluding the 600 Series; attached YT screenshot). You might want to go for a '60s Lagoon Blue & Porcelain Blue set next. :D

Do you now have both canned ham models 1289 & 1290 Roto-Matic Power Teams? Also, do you have the white owner's guides of the period with the E/W logo and logotype?

I see that Brian suggested that I do a little digging for some information on the Wide Track's attachment set. :) Well, I came short of finding a line drawing or photo of it in the newspaper database I use, but I did manage to locate several ads that referred to the deluxe tool set model 2699 (with the 16" converter) and the deluxe model 2677 set (with the 12" converter.) Attached is a 1978 ad including it with the upright models 4040 and 2087. Btw, the more popular model 60 tool sets (Types A-E) were the standard 6-piece.

The original Brandywines were phased out in 1981 with the new 6.5-amp ESP uprights in various colors; although a few were enameled in that color in the 1980s such as my model-type 1514-A Roto-Matic Power Team. It's an attractive, rich color for sure; perfect for a collector of your caliber.

Euphoric Eurekaing, my friend, and welcome back to VL once again!
