The elusive hard-box Light & Easy...

Has anyone ever actually seen one? The classic L&E is rare enough, let alone the hard-bag model! Would love to see a non-catalogue photo of one

I am not an expert when it comes to British vacuums, but these Spinneys look very similar to Hotpoint uprights I have seen on the internet. Why would Hotpoint brand the name Spinney on some of their cleaners?

I actually really like the sleek, simple motor hoods on these vacuums! Very nice design!!!

(They would even be nicer with big headlights.)

They actually *are* the Hotpoint design! Hotpoint sold the design off in the mid '70s (1976?) to become a catalogue model manufactured by someone else.
