Greetings!

FantomTechGuy here with some exciting news!
I am currently in discussion on buying the "Fantom" name. That means that I will be the new owner of the "Fantom, Fantom Technologies Inc" copyrights, designs, names, and other royalties. If the name purchase goes through, there will be a lot of exciting news, but until then, I'll keep all that secret ;)

But, I'm also here to make an announcement...
I am officially, professionally Remastering all of the Fantom How-To-Videos!
I have done a lot of research and have bought equipment to remaster the videos to their "Fantom Viewing Beauty"! The videos will be remastered to their fullest extent and will have hours of editing to ensure maximum quality. And encase you were wondering, every tape from the first Fantom to the last will be remastered!

So with that mouth-full said, here is how you can get your copy.
When all of the remastering is done, I will take all the videos and make a professional Blu-Ray release. It will be just like a regular Blu-Ray complete with a menu and chapters.

When the project is fully complete, I will make an official post here with the necessary pre-order details on were to pre-order your copy.

Also, if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask!

And one more thing, there will be a bonus features included also
-Fantom Technologies TV Adverts
-HD Photos of all the Fantom Vacuum models, accessories

AND FOR LIMITED TIME ONLY (More details TBA)
A USB drive of all the Fantom Vacuum manuals and schematics remastered to HD quality

So thank you for reading all of this and again, if you have any questions feel free to ask!

Cool, if you buy the name I hope you can find a way to produce the Thunder and lightening models again. Those were great vacuums.

I'd buy a new Thunder or lightening model.

Response to Repairman

I can not giveaway any personal info, but I can tell you that they still do, however the company is now called Shark/Ninja. The purchase is still going on, and hopefully will go through.

I don't have a blue ray player yet so if I want to buy the how to collection could I get mine on regular DVD I'm not promising a purchase but if I do I just want to have a format I can use with what I have.
Thanks again for all you do.

Somewhere at home I have a Fantom upright video-use and care-came from the vac place here where the owner died and his wife gave me most of what used to be there. If the videos are going to be remastered to BluRay?Were they filmed with a film camera or HD video one?If not putting it on BluRay won't improve it much.A regular DVD would be adequate in that situation.BluRay production would be very expensive for a standard def VHS video with mono soundtrack.

Response to 2011Hoover700 and Tolivac

Thanks for the questions guys.

2011HOOVER700- Yes, there will be a DVD version, the Blu-ray release is just for a limited time

TOLIVAC- The Fantom videos were shot on regular film, but were not filmed in Mono. All of the Fantom Videos have Stereo sound.

And to add on, how the remastering process is going to take a long time to do. Because there are so many steps to it. For example, each frame of the video(s) will be analyzed then digitized to HD quality. As for the audio, it will be cleaned up and will have HD sound.

That's good the Fantom videos were originally recorded from film-so it has a good beginning.Same with the soundtrack. This could be worth waiting for.I don't collect these vacuums-the BluRay video of this would be better than the well played VHS tape I now have.Be neat if other appliance videos could be redone this way.

This idea is pure gold!!

I really like the idea of this whole thing! I hope everything works out well for you. It would even be cool to see some original videos of your own created (like for the Fantoms that never got videos included with them like the Wildcat). I have very good editing skills after doing YouTube for years (I use Adobe Premiere Pro CC) so if you are in need of any help count me in!

Yeah, it would be cool to have a convo with you over email!

And also, I was planning on making a Fantom Wildcat How-To-Video!
I was going to hire Mary McDonough to host it, but I need to finish one project before the next ;)

I hope you can produce the thunder, fury, and lightning models

The thunder would make a great commercial vacuum today and the fury, lightning, and cyclone xt would do really well in stores and on sites like HSN and QVC. As for the wildcat and crosswinds they have too many problems to return to stores
