The All New G-tech AirRam

Thats cool

The fact that it's a direct air motor makes me think that it would be one of the better performing cordless vacuums it looks pretty cool and i noticed it had a 5 year warranty.

There was a G-tech sweeper at the primary school I went to years and years ago and it was very good, so add suction to the mix, and I'd buy one... If I had over £200!

It was "tested" in the Daily Mail, mentioning 4 hour run time (wrong!).

I don't think it is a direct-air vac. It might work like the bin of the Electrolux Trilobite robot - a clean fan design, where the suction compacts the dust and fluff into "bales".

Bin design

Looking at the design of the exploded view, I am even more convinced that it is a clean-air design.

The clear bin seems to have filters in its lid (under the top cover of the machine).

There are two flat air ducts which lead to the motor. Both have vertical supports/air vanes, so it cannot be a "dirty air" system, as they would get clogged.

There are two wide exhaust vents from the motor, which lead to the green grills, by the rear wheels. A similar idea to to the Trilobite: short air path, but clean fan, using filters.

This leads me to think that it is a clean fan design, like the Electrolux robotic cleaner.

Air Ram demonstration video

Hello,

I have just got a G Tech Air Ram and have uploaded an unboxing and demo video of it on my YouTube channel.

I have to say I impressed with it, even though I have only cleaned my house once with it.

Ive found this Gtech  upin michigan. retail price is definetely expensive at 349.99 also sorta just looks like a souped up Shark.

Looked at Sensotronics video-neat little machine. The GTech AirRam has possibilities.A cordless vacuum that can work. The design is clever and efficient.VERY short dirt path-like right from the roller brush into the dirt bin-and the filters mounted on the bin lid.I just wonder how long this machine will work on my deep pile carpet and about 1800 Sq Ft of it.Bet it would die before finishing.I would empty the dirt bin after each use-and clean the lid filters-just to keep the efficiency up,the bin clean, and less wear and tear on the machine.dirt left in bagless machines will cause wear. The machine would be an interesting addition to any vacuum cleaner collectors collection.I would clean its filters by vacuuming them with a canister cleaner.Esp if you have pets-again would be a good idea to empty the bin and clean the filters after each major use to prevent odors.

<span style="font-size: large;">That looks really cool! Is that available in the US? I only saw the price in Pounds
