Nice!

My mom had the green one. A 1959 wedding gift. My aunts was blue, and newer. You know, it may have been a Monkey Wards, because she used to be a credit dept. manager in one. I think her next vacuum was a Wards by Eureka power team tan canned ham.

I love it, but a suggestion

The Stromburg-Carlson telephone is not exactly period.

Might I suggest a Western Electric 500 in aqua. Also, since the Bell System was the default telco for most of the US, using a phone as used by independent telcos is not a representation of the '60s that was most common.

How stupid could I be, I accidentally chose the picture of a avocado WE 500 instead of aqua!

It's late and I'm tired. Again, sorry for the inconvenience.

I've got to get there and see!!! WOW!

Tom,

please tell me what year the purple Convertible first came out. (3rd to the right of the "stereo phonograph") My mother had one and I think it might have been a present from her wedding shower in 1960.

Great Job Tom!

The 1960's display room looks wonderful! Awesome machines, well displayed, and the 60's furniture, stereo, and TV really enhance the look! Looking forward to the time when I'll be able to see it in person. Unfortunately, travel is still out of reach for me at this time.
Jeff
