It's never as good as the website says ;) not from experience, but from common sense. lol

Although I must admit from what I read on the website, it does seem to have some interesting features.

It reminds me much of those Euro-Pro Shark vacuums: they sell them just like this H2O vac, and they say it's really good. I also hope you understand that ANY vacuum can lift a bowling ball. You must get the right surface area. Anyway...I think it is a waste of money. There are better vacuums out there.

The minute I saw the almighty bowling ball test on that webpage I thought something was a miss ;) con-mans game ;p

I certainly wouldn't pay the amount of money they're asking even if they throw in the 2nd one "free". What a joke that is..just pay the additional shipping and handling. By the time you've paid the shipping and handling you're paying a fortune for two clap trap plastic vacs that probably aren't worth more than a pinch of *&#(. Eventually you're going to find these for sale in all the discount stores and those "As Seen on TV" stores in the malls so it's probably better to wait.

yeagh...

... Still, it seems like a perfect gift for me. I may ask for a connie. But if you nkow me, I allways change my mind. OH, i know that almost any vacuum can hold a bowling ball :). But I am trying not to change my mind about what I want for next X-MAS, an xl21 titanium series.

It's a cheaply made piece of junk trying to capitalize on the enormous popularity of the Rainbow. Kind of like an old beat-up Yugo trying to pass itself off as a new S-Class Mercedes. You could drive either down to the 7-11, but that's where the similarity ends.

The H2O is a NON-SEPARATOR water filtration vacuum, which doesn't compare to a fine machine like the Rainbow. I haven't used one, but from what I heard, they are difficult to clean, prone to rusting in the motor (from the wet exhaust due to the lack of a separator), and must be handled carefully otherwise the water will just slosh around and blow out the machine.

Incidentally, CR just tested this one as their first non-separator vacuum in the new March report. It was rated dead last (a miserable 43 points total) in the Canisters category, and scored a "poor" for hose airflow.

My advice: Spend that money on a good used Rainbow that you'll be a lot happier with.

Rainbows last a lifetime. I got one off eBay, a model B, for only $30. This thing has certainly lasted someone a lifetime! All I need to get it working again is new carbons and bearings. It is a much better design, anyway!
