Hey guys, finally was able to get this post going, meant to do it like a week ago, but life gets in the way sometimes, you all know what I mean. Anyway, let's get the show started!
Hoover Futura
So I picked up my hoover for $25. No attatchments, but for $25 I didn't expect it to have them. It was at a pawn shop. I really like how this look, I like the lettering on the canister and I like the black on red. As far as preformance goes, it makes nice tracks in the carpet and does a good job, very pleased with it. BUT, the bearings are going out in the brush roller, hopefully I will be able to order a new roller with bearings here soon. Overall, I'm happy with it.
Kirby Sentria.
I know this isn't a "vintage" sweeper, but the others in the post are the appropriate age so it'll be ok lol. This thing does an absolutely amazing job. The carpets look fantastic, it really picks up any ground in junk with ease. Very pleased with it, it will be my daily driver, with me alternating to use my other sweepers. I do like the look of the tradition more, but I won't lie (sorry all you vintage kirby fans, I like the old ones more too but...) it does do a better job than the tradition.
Now some bonus ones I found after I origionally planned on making this post!
Kenmore Dynomite
I didn't even know these existed haha. I was going to my local goodwill and there it was, in a box on the top shelf. And it was so diffirent and interesting looking, plus I like kenmores, for $10 I had to pick it up. Runs great, virtually not even a scratch on it.
Dirt devil hand held.
This little dude, I was so excited to get my hands on. I don't know why, I know it's a simple little hand held, but I've always wanted one since I was a little kid. I was out with my wife in a neighboring town at a thrift shop. I saw it, freaked, was origionally $12 but got it for $6!! And it was serviced at the end of last year! This thing runs like brand new, smooth and and not loud at all. Very happy to have this one.
