T cut

My recommendation

is Autosol - it comes in a tube rather like toothpaste. Not so runny as T Cut you can buy it in Halfords. Like Chris says, you also need to keep it away from writing, logos etc. You should be fine with teh Junior, just be careful when doing the belt cover

Thanks for the info. I tried it on my Electrolux Z502 and it took the brown strip off of it :-) but i,m not worried about that, then i polished the hood of my Hoover Senior and it shined up a treat.
I wondered if it would take the staining off of the plastic too?
 
Make sure you use a damp rag when using T-cut, otherwise it will scratch the plastic.
Use a sperate dry rag to take off once its dried.
As Chris said, done use it on an logos or writing as it will be removed also.
Textured plastics, like the buttons on Lux 350's etcc don't like T-cut, so I'd recommend only using it on smooth parts.
