I would only totally repaint this if I had some Hammertone blue. :-( So touchup dauber it is...while I look for a nice bluish cloth weave hose. Well, maybe a blue Kirby Tradition hose - its the right diameter for the coupler.

I am tempted to strip the battleship gray and polish out the handle and end cap. The side trim is also bolted on cast aluminum, not rubber as I expected...mmmmm

Where are those vacs? Is it where a Kirby Company stores or discards the trades or what? Wow what a find can you just help yourself?

I love the Royal Dave, I wish some of those vacs in the storage barn were forsale, I would buy a Conertible, Eureka, and an Elite lol.
