I stumbled across this and have never heard of a Sunbeam vacuum. The bagless one is obviously an Electro Pure, but does anyone know who makes the rest of these? Anyone used one? Are they any good? I know that typically, cheap vacuums are bad vacuums, but I think the Dirt Devil Featherlite and Eureka Power Plus actually clean quite well for the cost, so who knows?

They are manufactured by a company called KINGCLEAN in china, KINGCLEAN also manufactures most the Eureka uprights as well as RussellHobbs and Morphy Richards vacuum cleaners. they have there own design mostly comprising of older model UK electroluxes vacuums and some eureka's as well as really cheap alien looking canisters.

Looking at their website, it looks like they probably make some Dirt Devil canisters and maybe the Kenmore Magic Blue.

there factory is huge bigger than anything you can imagine. bigger than most car manufacturing plants. If you have a vacuum and want it built you go to them .

The next big thing you notice is the amount of workers in the plant, its staggering hardly any robots like you would find in the eu its all done by hand there

i was looking at that vacuum

on sears awhile back,i wonder if they still make 'em,because it looks like an interesting vac.anyone know if they still make them?

it look's kinda like a eureka world vac,Bissell powerforce and electro lux thingy combined together in one!

FWIW back in the 70's I had a avocado green Sunbeam canister vac. The canister was all metal and king of a flat round circle shape. Didn't have a powerhead, just a floor brush, crevice tool and a upholstery tool.
It did fine on the thin carpet I had in my college apartment.
