Miele has finally offered Canadians a Miele S8 without a power nozzle. It's the same white Miele FreshAir package that Americans have been able to buy!
Because I shifted around family vacs recently (out with the old, in with the newer), I was desperate to get a good canister without a pn in the last few weeks. I saw a great deal on a basic Miele S2 Olympus (Red Contour in Canada) at Canadian Tire a few weeks ago: CAD$340 including an AirTeq Carpet Nozzle PLUS a Mini Turbo which is usually $80 when bought separately. To me this was a steal and I grabbed it. Very happy with my purchase. Though I may have splurged on the new suction only S8 had it been in stores a few weeks ago!
One day, when I have more cash flow, I may treat myself to this white S8! See link below....
