VacuumLand – Vintage & Modern Vacuum Enthusiasts

Help Support VacuumLand:

I can't bear to watch these trash-something videos. They

So don't! It really is that easy. As long as people keep making a fuss about him smashing vacuums, he's going to keep right on doing it. People like him are fueled by other people's discomfort. As long as people keep sending him hate mail and bashing his videos, he'll keep right on going.

If you want him to stop, don't comment on his videos, don't post hate threads here on the forum, don't do anything at all. If he doesn't get a rise out of people, he'll lose interest soon enough.

the smashy idiot has even stated he will not post anymore videos unless more people react to them.So maybe ignoring him is starting to work.Sadly there are other "smashers" out there-they are linked to the "Smashtuff30" videos website.

THAT...

...is the video that made me stop watching these demolition videos. There was another video elsewhere, different user, that was final straw for me giving extra parts to others. Sure, I'll give extra parts to folks -- but only folks that I know well. Just being a site member or club member isn't going to cut it anymore with me. Once burnt, twice shy.

These people may think this type of thing is cute or fun now, but down the road it can come back to haunt them.

Our "smashy" freind is gone-he has removed his smash videos. He got into an "Efight" with another youtuber. For the heck of it-tried the link at the beginning of this thread and found out the rest of the story. Also ignoring him must have worked too.

are you kidding me?????

I am a kid. Once and a while kids like to get destructive with things that are unwanted, such as I DO NOT KNOW, a BROKEN General Electric BAGLESS PLASTIVAC. I highly doubt that there is anyone here that loves plastivacs to death. It was broken to begin with, and it was given to me by my neighbor. Instead of throwing it out, I figured why not have a little bit of fun with it! I do agree with everyone here that it truly is digusting when people tear up vacuums that are actually worth something. One person, I am sure he is the most popular one at doing it, beat up HOOVER CONCEPT 2 ELECTRONIC. It makes me sick to my stomach also, but it is just a bagless plastivac. If it truly offended anyone out there, then I am sorry. Thank You Very Much,
Chase

No, young feller, I'm not kidding, for your sake. Yup, I'm offended to see such behavior from 'one of our own', as it were.

All very well and good and understandable that one has a little fun but that's not how it comes across to viewers from a Vacuum Collector's site and perspective who once in a while get mired in discussing this type of pointless destruction. It's been up since March 27 and you didn't heed the previous hint.

I'm not going to attempt to address the statement "Once and a while kids like to get destructive with things that are unwanted".

All I'm suggesting, in light of your other fine watchable vacuum comparo videos, is that this one has really run it's course and ought to be deleted. It reflects negatively upon you, Chase, who should be setting an example for your fellow teenage posters.

You're welcome.

Dave

Okay.....

Before I did not even look at this thread, until a friend notified me that I was being mentioned. I will delete the video. BTW it was requested.

I spoke too soon-the idiot brought his videos back and added some new ones-He smashed a really nice antique Eureka vacuum and his latest sport is throwing things into vintage fans-He trashed a really nice blue metal GE box fan.Such waste! The GE fan failed the "chopping-thicking tests"--so he drags it behind his ATV.
