Dyson dc33

I have a Dyson dc33 stubborn. I'm not really sure if it is called that in the US. I really like it but the build quality isn't the best. Of course the quality is great but it isn't like the older Dysons, there is more plastic on it compared to my dc07

That's my Kirby classic omega. It's in okay condition but it still needs work. I have that one and a heritage 2. Oh and that Kirby works except the handle is broken. Below is a picture

DC33 is a perfect example of how Dyson just isn't Dyson anymore.

It's a step back even beyond the DC07 with apparently having a plastic wand/telescope. The 'hayday' (as I call them, when Dyson was Dyson) models such as the DC08, DC07, DC11, DC14, DC15 have much better quality.

Actually, the DC33 is a decent vacuum, even for a Dyson. I think of the DC33 as a "pick and mix" model because of the DC14 style features, a DC27/DC28 cyclone, the DC07 filter case and filter, the cleaner head and much more, however this is being sold on eBay by a friend. So therefore I am trying to make him happy.

It should last when the user is careful and will maintain it. The newer Dysons may have flexible plastic but are less likely to snap than a DC07 or DC14 model.

Plus Dyson have a testing area for a reason, not for fun but for testing whether or not the vacuums can withstand use. The DC33 my neighbour has has not got any broken parts, and also the user must wash filters when neccessary in order to keep it running to therefore your point is invalid.

Ah, yes my my mistake! I have the Sami-emptor I just haven't put it back on since I was restoring it

Chris, I do like the earlier models of Dysons better than the latest ones, however it doesn't mean I hate the new Dysons, just the DC37, DC39, DC40 and DC41 models are really awful in my opinion.
