Unless I've gone totally blind, my thread about my Vax Dual-V has dropped off the bottom of this forum into the abyss that is the Vacuumland archives, so here's a new thread.

Hit 'play', then select 'HQ'. It's filmed in high quality, so make the most of it!

Jack, that was really a good video!! It looks like the carpet cleaner really did a great job on the spots. You make wonderful video's have you ever thought of adding your own voice to them? Thanks so much for sharing. Terry

Thanks, Terry! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I never narrate my videos - I can't STAND the sound of my own voice when it's recorded! I prefer just to use simple captions and titles.

Like the rest of the carpets in my house, the stairs hadn't been washed in well over a year. The carpet was fitted in 1996, so it's now 13 years old, and it gets VERY heavy wear. My brothers go up and down and slop their cups of sugary tea all over (hence those awful spots!).

Here's the recovery-tank after doing the stairs, and the landing below. It's good to know it's not in the carpets any more!!

I think it is very normal for us to not like the sound of our own voice. From looking at that water, you know that you didn't waste your time.LOL

Impressive

I have the Hoover Steam Vac since '99 & got the same results like vintagehoover did; & better than the rental machines.
