I always appreciate when a vac-maker adds a headlight or - in the case of Kenmore - an LED light at the end of the wand. And I love the SpotLight handle that came with my Miele C3.

I noticed that the GTech handvac/stick vac now has an LED spotlight on the nose of the unit to illuminate dark areas while you clean car interiors or behind furniture. The light is bright enough to shine on the floor when the cleaner is in stick-vac mode. I think it’s a great idea!

Question: do any other manufacturers offer a spot light on their handvacs?

Oh wow! Thanks for that reply! Had no idea!

It’s such a great concept…don’t know why other companies don’t offer this feature…especially Dyson and Shark and Samsung and Tineco….

Some of the cheaply 12v hand held car vacuums I had did have a small headlight with a flashlight bulb.

I saw that googling “handvac with light”….many of the old cheap car vacs that you plug into the lighter socket offered a little spotlight.

Just wonder why Shark and others have not offered this helpful feature…seems like a no-brainer to add a bright LED light to the nose of the main unit. Seems only GTech has done this.

Shark rockets

Several of the Shark rockets have the light on the hand held canister as well as on the power head. I like it when I have to get into a dark corner. It’s led and focused well so it does work nicely
