More of the mailing envelope. The suction of this is just amazing and the noise level is very low. A quiet precision instrument.......and a thrill to find one brand new. Im not sure if Im going to keep this or sell it.....I will probably sell it......... Again, Thanks to my good friend Richard for his thoughtfulness.!

Now that is a really nice vacuum. Course I think you should keep it for awhile to enjoy it then maybe sell it later if it doesn't fit. Dave's already tuning up the Subaru

WOW!!

Jimmy, that is one beautiful Royalaire!! Much better looking than mine, even AFTER I cleaned and polished it! The fact that yours was purchased new in 1959 confirms that mine was made in the early 60's just as I thought. I'm pretty sure mine is a bit newer than yours due to a few differences I noticed. Your machine is blue, mine is green, your switch button is gray, mine is red, you have the solid plastic handle and mine has the rubber strap, and your hose has the older style cone shaped hose end. Also, I'm wondering, on the data plate, does yours say Royal Appliance Mfg. Co., or P.A. Geier Co. on it? Other than that, it's basically the same machine.
I'm with you on the quiet power of this machine. When mine arrived I was amazed at how strong the suction was! I thought my 966 Electro-Hygiene was good, but seems like the Royalaire takes it to an even higher level!
I think it's wonderful too, that you got the original tool caddy and paperwork with yours. Although I also have the complete set of attachments with mine, they reside in a GFS (Gordon Food Service) box! But could you do me one favor? Since my chances of getting a copy of the instruction book are slim, would you be willing to scan yours and email it to me so I can print it out? I would really appreciate it. My email address is [email protected].
Congratulations on a super find! And I hope you don't sell it, in my opinion that is a machine you should keep and cherish!
Jeff
