Here's a beautiful D80 on eBay. The shipping is high but the seller did say he just estimated it and would work on getting the price down. I'd love to have this myself because it's so nice and 100% complete, even though I never was crazy about the color scheme of this model. I'd say this is a pretty rare specimen in this condition and hope some collector will want to give it a home.

Seeing that makes me want to get the bearings replaced in mine. I'm going to have to do that soon. It ran nicely for a short period of time. I unpacked it and used it for maybe an hour to shampoo, went to turn it on and the bearings had gone bad. It has a brand new ball bearing brushroll in it too.

It's a sticker that it came with from the factory when it was brand new with instructions on how to use the belt-lifter. Underneath it is a normal belt lifter like on any other D80. I'm going to leave it on.

Yeah, I like the sticker too. The D50 came with the same type.

I liked on the subsequent models where they put they belt lifter instructions in a more permanent place like above the nozzle so you can see both the instructions and the belt lifter. I know so many people that have these (and have used them continually since new) that still have some or all of the instructions sticker still on the belt lifter. Chris
