This will be the final vacuum replacement. For the past year, since last summer, I've been thinking about replacing my Hoover Convertible U4403. Reason being is that the bag was replaced, it is super loud, and I do not like it as much. I will NOT ever replace my other 3 machines. Reason being is that they are super rare, especially the Eureka Commercial Vacuum, since it most likely came from a hotel. I also already have a Hoover Convertible, the Hoover Montgomery Ward one with the dust cup.
Getting to the point, I purchased a Hoover Dial a Matic from ebay that will replace the Hoover Convertible. I am going to pay monthly payments, since $200 is too expensive. I am not much of a big fan of side suction vacuums, but after seeing a video of someone using a dial a matic, I noticed it picks up so well, like it has middle suction. I also learned that they made them since the 1960s, which really got me to buy one. I am wondering when this one was made and if you think this could possibly be a NOS Dial a Matic but without the box. I also chose a green one, because it matched my NOS NIB Hoover Blender. Both may have been made the same year.
What do you all think? Year? Possibly brand new?
