Hey Guys

Ive been curious about these for ages, but weve not been offered them. So naturally when a fellow collector spotted this for £39.99 on Ebay I couldnt resist lol!

Ive only

Had a quick play but initial impressions are good- its pretty quiet, floats well and has loads of suction. I have no intention of really using it for cleaning so the bagless thing I normally hate isnt that much of an issue.

Stay tuned for more details this evening!

okay, so....... WHAT is it?? I like the nice long hose. Saw a cute Sanyo "Powerboy" vac this weekend -- it has tremendous suction and is as cute as a bug, but has a hose that's frustratingly short.

That is really a neat vacuum and a great video as well. I love the way the hose can be extended. Thanks for sharing this!!

Hi Seamus, I bought one of these last year off ebay. Really a neat conception with the hose within a hose and it floated beautifully, but the bagless thing was too much of a hassle with dog hair. I took it to the convention here in St. Louis last year and it sold as soon as it entered the room! Mine was a bright yellow. Have fun playing with it!

The extendable hose;

Didn't Hoover come up with that for their Octopus model? And don't Miele offer such a contraption as an option now - a small extra section of stretchy hose which can be released from the hose end?

See, the Old Constellation still beats it ;p

I find the Connie looking like some kinda Dalek is a perk :P

used to be at Brookstone!

We had them several years back at a store called Brookestone here in the states. It was bright yellow. I remember trying one out. I asked the sales lady who made it and she LIED to me and told me it was made by Dyson! Can you imagine? It did float nicely, but felt a little cheap.
