Someone who knows about Riccar/Maytag

I saw a video on youtube that showed a Riccar that had a fluted brush roll that is supposed to provide more agitation than the regular metal brush roll. Question, will the fluted brush roll fit the Maytag M1200?

No, it's larger and won't fit. In my experience, it doesn't actually make much of a difference for cleaning.
