I've been picking up even more vacs lately. This Eureka came from the shop i frequent it was an abandoned repair which sat there for over a year. They kept calling them but they never came to pick it up. So it ended up in my possession for a mere $10. It's a 3.5 amp two speed model It works surprisingly well for how little energy it uses.

A Fairfax. It came from ebay. I've put a DVC made panasonic U cloth bag into it because the single layer DVC bags let a lot through them. It's kinda loud due to the cooling fan and the standard hose really reduces it's airflow, pulling about a 2 on the baird meter while putting a Kirby Heritage II hose on it brings it up to 4
I want to say this is the eureka made head.

Also from the shop

I like to stop into the shop every now and then because you never know what will come through. I was in there just last week and spotted the Price next to the work desk i asked the owner about it but he was gone while it was recieved the day before. When his assistant arrived i asked him about the it. Apparently it was just given to them oooh was i happy to hear that $10 and it was mine for the taking.

Still in a state of disrepair the motor actually seems okay despite the overall dirty condition of the machine. The hose is an electric braided hose. The Power head is seized. I haven't really started to work on this machine yet but i felt it's a good addition because it was a radical change in design.

You have some very nice finds there!! I particularly am liking the Fairfax & Electrolux 1205. Looks like the Electrolux will need a powerhead motor, perhaps, as well as a good cleaning, but you can tell it's in great cosmetic shape underneath all that dirt!

Enjoy using all your new vacuums....Rob
