You're right, Parwaz, it's %92.2 percent plastic. Anything that can be plastic, IS plastic. That small %6.8 is made of the motors and copper cables.

Hoover dude,I completely agree with you, besides 2 (besides Filter-Queen and Rainbow), Fantom and Amway.

Dyson models prior to the DC06 are fine. Better made then the new models buy a long-shot.

Let's end this here and return to the topic of 'HOOVERS for sale', you can always start a separate thread!

Gary, I would really love that 119, but unfortunately, finances just don't permit it right now. I could offer you about £30 plus postage, max, and even that would have to wait until payday - a very cheeky offer for a classic machine in such good shape! It's certainly worth more than that.

And I assure you, not all the UK collectors are insterested in "plastic crap" as you put it, though I think there are still plenty of great modern cleaners available. There are no bagless cleaners in my house.

OH..... FORGOT TO MENTION THE 700 WILL BE STAYING WITH ME AFTER MUCH THOUGHT AND DELIBERATION. I JUST CANT LET HER GO. I SOLD ONE A FEW YEARS AGO AND KICKED MYSELF IN THE ASS EVER SINCE, SO THAT ONE IS NOT GOING.

Hi vacuser,

I am not sure what the rate of exchange is from the US dollar to the British pound but I would like at least £60.00 pounds for it as it is in just about new condition as you will most likely ever find.

As you can see it is all original and even has the round brush which was at the time an optional extra not included with the original tool kit.

Oh my!

I just looked at this thread and it looked as though there was some arguing going on about palstic garbage. I happen to collect some plastic machines and they work great. Not all plastic machines are garbage. Maybe that's a stereotype going around :P anyway, hoover119dude, I would all the machines you have but I live across an ocean in a different country. Also not all young collectors collect plastic garbage, I'm a young collector and I have many kirbies, metal hoovers and some valuable plastic machines. Sorry if im late to the thread ;)
