Your Link wouldn't open for me, it just tells me "error" instead. Maybe you can check it out and try again, with another Link reference.

Cool Stuff

I would love to visit that shop, you don't really find that sort of vacuum dealer any more--mos are moving towards ONLY selling new high-end machines, like Tacony, Miele, Sebo, or Lindhaus. (I have nothing against those vacs though, but miss the old days). Unfortunately, South Dakota seems like the other side of the globe for me.

Factory Refurbished

I really wish vac companies would get back in the habit of selling reconditioned models. Fantom was doing it for awhile after Euro-Pro bought Fantom. They reconditioned a bunch of Furys, Lightnings, and Cyclone XT's. I bought a refurbished Lightning (like new at Odd-Job/Job Lot) for $40.00. We sell refurbished Orecks at the dealership and call them "show models." I have a refurbished Air-Way Sanitary System that says right on it was reconditioned at the Air-Way factory. It's hard to believe that in the 1940's and '50's, you could still purchase a Hoover Special from the 1920's. I guess there just isn't enough profit in doing so.
