Really happy with the GE upright and the Sensotronic Tropic.....

Also picked up a Sensotronic Audio300, Senior Commercial C1310, Gray Convertible/DAM U5074, Super Sprint SC252 and a Portable....and a couple of later uprights...

Nice =). I really like the Convertible and the GE. It would be great if you were able to find the burgandy Convertible, it such a classy looking color. To bad they didnt have those here.

Burgandy Dial A Matic

Or Convertable as we knew it in the UK.

The Burgandy and Pumpkin models are Mike King's the Powerdrive is mine - to cross reference to another current thread I picked it up from the side of the road late one night - brings a whole new meaning to the term "kerb crawling" LOL

Actually, as far as the UK is concerned it is a snapshot of the Dial-a-matic life, the Pumpkin being the first model we had (1967?), the Powerdrive being the only version of this type we had (1977) and the Burgandy (1989) the last, a short run several years after the model had been replaced by the Concept 1
