Got together with my local astronomy club for the lunar fest. I was able to image a few decent shots, which I've uploaded for your viewing pleasure. If anyone has some photos feel free to post them here...will very much enjoy seeing them! I had it guessed right, everyone just about nerded out over the vintage Spock LP.  With the exception of Delbert and Todd being a cod over who had the best Trig. Function on their scientific calculator...whoopee! Well, it was still pretty exciting, though. For when the moon reached its fiery pinnacle and flashed a Brilliant Martian Red, Susana, over come with rapture, nearly jumped out of her Sir Isaac Newton logo tube top, after which of course, you could have asked Delbert and Todd what was 2 + 2 and they wouldn't have had the foggiest notion...they were like ducks hit on the head! And don't you know, everybody's cameras were stuck in their eyepieces when it happened!

Well, as far as I can tell only Alan had a good excuse. Now, as for the rest of you, I can find no justification in your actions, and there can be only one recourse...Death by Firing Squad under the next lunar eclipse!!!

I bet this time you won't miss it!

Well, I was going to pardon the EVIL DOERS  ( Now, where have I heard that one before?) at the eleventh hour anyway, just to let'em sweat it out a little!

392 CAL.???

Alex, about the safest place you want to be is behind a KIRBY during a shot out! I think the shooter will most probably get a third eye plugged in his dumb noggin. You just about have to be a plum fool to take a pop shot at the ever abiding, everlasting...The Indestructible KIRBY!

Now, I must give this warning: Whomsoever wills to shoot a KIRBY shall most likely have their own noodle scrambled by the ricochet...YOU HAVE BEEN SO WARNED, BEWARE!!!

Well duh, Alex, anyone that's anybody will know it's a mylar filter which took those fabulous shots of the earth's system solar mass! I converted a cheapo Celestron into a solar telescope. You shall see in the third shot the cool spot has moved...THERE...ARE YOU HAPPY NOW!!!
