Softening Vinyl

Does anyone have a recommendation for a product to use to clean & soften the vinyl hoses? I have assorted Kirby hoses but some of them are not as flexable as they used to be. I am trying to find something that will rejuvenate them. Any help would be appreciated.

you tried something like a pro-grade heat gun. Often vinyl & plastics will soften again when exposed judiciously to focused heat.
