I wanted to see if the Diamante's low airflow scores were consistent with it's performance I've always felt their power came more from their brushrolls rather than their vacuum motor.

Here's how this was performed. I let my rug sit out for a day since it's been rolled up. Prior to testing I cleaned it thoroughly with my Sanitaire, Then a new bag was weighed and inserted into the machine. 5G of sand was weighed out and rubbed into the rug in the path of the vacuum. 10 total passes were done going lengthwise and crosswise then the bag was removed and re-weighed. After sand testing I re-did the test with baking soda, using the same bag as the sand shouldn't impact it's performance

I've gotta say I'm disappointed, I like the feel of this machine and love the way it grooms but for the $800 price tag it really should perform better!
