Well, this morning while perusing ebay on my day off I ran across this little gem that I absolutley had to have. I spent far more than I should have, but was unable to pass this rare gem up.It is a light blue Penncrest upright in mint condition.

Here is a pic from the listing, I will post more when it arrives.

Congratulations Sam

Great machine, goes back to the mid 70's. I remember it from when I was in management training in Furniture and Appliances at JCP here on the west side of Columbus.
Just about 74,75 If I am remembering correctly !

Nice Find, Sam!

Hope it looks as good when it arrives as it does in the ebay pic. That's one beautiful Pennyhoover! Congrats!

I have one of those-just like it-but mine isn't in as nice a shape.mine was only a couple dollars and it was stored outside or in a shed. The motor was corroded-but runs. The zipper handle on the bag is corroded shut.Any ideas on how to open it without destroying the bag?Got it at one of the country swap shops out here where most of his goods was stored outside.Too bad.

Beautiful looking cleaner, I saw that too. I would have grabbed it in a second if it was a J.C. Penney Dial-A-Matic.
