Sirena with a different powerhead

I've recently been doing research on Sirena vacuum cleaners and noticed that some pictures show a Sirena canister with a powerhead modeled EBK 360 from Wessel Werk instead of the Sirena PN. This makes me wonder, can other PN's from Wessel Werk (including the compact HEB 160) and those from Lindhaus also get connected to a Sirena unit?

This depends on how the power head gets its power. If the hose end is standard and has a two prong mini female connector as many other vacuums do, than yes, it should be possible to connect one of the universal power heads that are available. I don't have a Sirina so someone who does would need to comment on whether the electric connector is the standard one. If so, you would have several options, the Sebo power heads have an adapter available that makes them universal, Lindhaus also makes a model of their power heads with a universal pig tail cord, as does Riccar. Or you might consider getting the volt power head from Tacony, since that's also a dirty air design, it would increase the cleaning power of the Sirina quite a bit. The Wessel Werk heb160 is made in a universal version as is the EBK340. The EBK360 has a quick connect interface but you can make a cord that will make it universal. Again, the easiest nozzle to use here might be the volt.

Cord management

is fairly a universal thing with a few different types. Miele excluded.
Any vac shop can retrofit a hose handle receptacle to accomadate both older, and newer style power nozzle connections. OK?

So the electric hose for the Sirena has the universal kind of connector, like those for most central vacuum systems, which lets someone use a Lindhaus PN or the HEB 160 PN (with a pigtail cord) with the Sirena?

The receptacle in the hose handle of the Sirena is very much like the E series Rainbow. The cord from the Wessel-Werks nozzle to the Sirena handle has the same odd plug as does an E series Rainbow, in order to fit the receptacle. It would be a difficult thing to do to make a 'universal' fit plug go far enough into the receptacle on the Sirena that it wouldn't fall out. I tried other power nozzles with my Sirena. Finally broke down and just bought the entire new Wessel-Werks nozzle directly from Sirena.

It's good to know that PN's for Sirena canisters are interchangable with those for the Rainbow models of the E series.

But do let me guess... The Wessel Werk PN's that come with Sirena canisters have the same connectors as the Sirena model, but the ones for central vacuum systems have other kinds of connectors that are either difficult or impossible to attach to an electric hose for a Sirena. Am I right?

Yes, the male plug end of the cord from the power nozzle motor to the receptacle is unique to the Sirena and Rainbow E series machines. While it's possible to connect a 'universal fit' plug to the receptacle, it won't go in very far. I've tried using different nozzles, such as the Eureka power nozzle, with the Sirena, but the plug kept falling out of the receptacle which was aggravating.

I think I know what to do if I do get a Sirena and the PN does break or malfunction. Instead of buying a new PN of another brand, I should register the Sirena PN online, contact the store where I would have bought the set and ask the shop owner for replacement or a repair service. If the canister set were ordered by phonecall, I could just call the company for the service. I don't live so far away from the Sirena headquarters.
