Singer Twin Fan question

I received one as a gift from a friend. They mentioned to me or I read it on here somewhere, that there is a bag seal I need to check/recondition/replace?

Anyone know about this?

When you remove the outer bag, there should be a seal going around the mouth where the bag clamps to. It's been awhile since I had mine apart so my memory is kinda fuzzy in that aspect. You should be able to use adhesive based weatherstripping.
