Does anyone know where to buy these or where they can be ordered online? We inherited one of these vacuums with the cottage we bought but no bags and our local store can't seem to get them. TIA

do you know the bag style number? I have hoards of bags ( i buy them everytime i see them) in hopes of helping a fellow member out in times of need.

Never thought to look but will do so next time we're out there. Hope we can find some. It still works well for a cottage vacuum!

Took longer than expected to get back out there but I took some pics of the bag (or what was left of it) that was in there. Had no numbers on the bag. If I can't find the right bag does anyone know of a suitable alternative that I could substitute it with? Wish I would have taken more and better photos. :/

Hi! If I'm not mistaken, that machine takes the Eureka Style H bags and filters. I have one in my collection. It's ALL metal and made like a tank. You'll love it. Toby G.

I think you need to hunt down dust bags made for Eureka Williams' older 1960's Mobile-Aire "canned ham" Series 1000 canister cleaners. These Singers were modified versions of those low-slung canisters. The bags are Eureka Williams Style "L" bags. Be sure to get New Old Stock Style L bags as Eureka made a newer L Bag in the 1990's for some newer vacs. The ones you need are in the link below:

Singer Bags ??

While many older Singer vacs did use Eureka H,L & even K this is the one with the top mount hose with the fill tube turning to the back.I don't think there was a same Eureka bag for this Singer.Should be an easy way to find a bag(maybe even micro filter)that fits.If you can find a local vac or hardware store with several type bags it is always good to have the vac with you to try different sizes.
Good luck. With care an less use at a vacation home this Singer might have years ahead of it.(If you end up with weak suction you may find you have a good vac with a bad hose.Do not discard as you might reuse hose ends if this is the case.)
