Simplicity synergy question.

I have a Simplicity synergy Vacuum it's the t.o.l. but not the dirt finder one it's the one below.I love the Vacuum but my gay hater Aunt came by and got it at my moms house with out my knowing and she scuffed and scratched the top of it right were the L.e.d. lights are.I think she did it on purpose cause she hates me cause I'm gay.It's Rattlesnake in color I was wondering if anybody knows if the hood can be replaced?I am fixing to sell this Vacuum soon because,I'm a left above knee amputee and have a terrible bone spurs and they are taking it at the hip and it's just to heavy for me.I have a few more that are going also Vacuuming on crutches is hard.The Vacuum runs great does anybody have any advice?Here is a Pic..

Gay Hating Aunt!!

If your aunt hates you because you are gay....Well it is her loss....I'm sure you are a terrific person! Someday she will learn that Gay people are not bad people.. Remember God Made you just the way you are, and God doesn't make junk!!

She is not my aunt by blood but for some reason she still comes to Xmas dinner because her kids our my cousins, She has been in China for the last 5 years at the North Korea border spreading the word(I was hoping they would get her but no).She HATES me for being gay but she don't like anybody that is not Premative baptist.We have a huge family Xmas party this Sat and I will get my revenge when it comes to her.I would pass her by in Death Valley that is how terrible she is to me and everybody.She just moved here so she came by Moms grabed my Vac and brought it back looking like hell.I dont get mad I get even....and yep I know that is very imature,and all the other things but she will be paid back.I dont get her she claims she a christian but she is more like Hells Senator or something..

My Mom and Dad and Sis,brother.When I came out in 1995 they did go nuts.My Family is very devout Christians but I have a great Mom and Dad.Mom could not deal with me being gone sense I have Epilepsy and my Seziures were not under control then.They are fine with it now,well as many times I have almost died from the fits cause when they happen there the worst.I have lost my left leg to my hip and broke my back and many,many bones.My Aunt is the hater and during Xmas she tells me I will burn in hell,this is out my parents house.I haved to deal with 60 people every year but she and my cousins are the only ones.I know she did that to my Vacuum on purpose because I wont go to that place in Memphis to have the gay removed from me..I am not one to back down never have and never will.I did get her a present for Xmas its from a secret Santa its a 12 in Strap on Dildo and a Leather riding crop.I am still thinking about what else I can do and it will be very mean.I have ignored her long enough and I want her to no that she is not welcome in any home of my Family now that she has moved here. Folks this woman is evil,well she donated 25grand to Pat Robertson's thing when he was thinking of running for President. She thinks gays should be put to death she told me..

Gosh,I didnt think people hated us THAT much these days,Do you realy have to loose the rest of your leg?Are there no other alternatives such as shaving the spurs?
As for the vacuum have you looked at Total vac and other online shops for a fair price replacement hood? Also are the LED's scratched badly?If the cost of the hood is too much e-bay it,most people won't mind a few scratches especaly if the vac is like new and thats its only flaw,and you should still get a fair amount for it.

I am not gay but damn that dildo for a gift had me cracking up. I would get her a ring to go with it and a pair of loose balls just for giggles. even though I am not gay I do have some of the greatest respect for gay people because of the fact that they too are human and all humans deserve the same amount of respect no matter what. also I dont agree that gays will burn in hell because god created people the way he did for a reason. if you are gay it is for a good purpose. even though it clearly states in the bible that being gay is a sin, I dont agree with that. being gay has nothing to do with sinning instead it has to do with one sex having love and affection for that same sex. as a matter of fact in my opinion gay people lead great lives striving to succeed in life. now on to the reason to why I have great respect for gay people.
the reason to why I have great respect for gay people is because people who are gay are really brave and a lot of people like this are not really afraid to let it out. I can name a number of people on this forum who have shown their gay sides and let it all out. this is totally something that I greatly respect. not just that but I have seen and know people who have marched in pride parades and that is something to always be proud of.

As a gay teen, I can honestly say...

I know what its like to live in fear. My parents are outright homophobic, which is why I haven't told them that I'm gay. Its very difficult for me to act straight around them because I am, and I admit it freely, a little bit ummmm flamboyant and dramatic. The even bigger kick, is that I'm a devout Roman Catholic. Despite what the Church says about homosexuality, I believe that God created me to be me. Nobody can change that. Even if I have to live in fear of my parents finding out, I refuse to change who I am. I have friends who love me and will always be there for me, I have a boyfriend that has gotten me through many a hard day. I wouldn't change my life for anything in the world. So remember, God made you who you are. Don't let anyone tell you to be someone else.

As far as I'm concerned, being homosexual isn't the problem in the world. It is the quality of the person. There are many many wonderful gay men and women in the world. But like every other group of human beings here, there are the ones that go against all basic human decency, morally, ethically, and other. I'm not against any race or creed, orientation, just the monsters that exist in all of them. I'm trying to keep this simple, so forgive me if it sounds strange.

Most of my friends know I'm gay. If my family knows, they don't discuss it with me. Mom knew, but she loved me anyway.

Yea the leg has to go..I was a Left-below the knee and had three revisions on it,which is losing more and more..Well they told me the spurs would be less of a prob if I went above the knee because the bones were trying to bridge them when I was a below knee.Well in 2005 They took it above the knee kinda high at that.Well I was fine then I felt pains in my stump and the Xray showed a femur that looks like a rose bush with thorns.The Doc told me that my body has been broken so bad in the past and the back break has caused stem cells to be produced..I have bone floating around not even attached to the femur.So its more operations or just have them take the bone out of my socket and then its done and cant come back..I don't want to go through this no more.The Pain when you come out after they cut your leg off was worse than the shotgun/Epilepsy fit that blew the leg bones like glass thats why I lost my leg.One very small tick at the worst time and boom,my leg had to be took.So this next will be the sixth time I have had a Amputation and I just want it gone and over with..I am not sensitive about it or anything like that,I know Amps that just shutdown and dwell on losing it and they hate the world and everybody.I am one of thoese that after all my accidents it could be worse..I was dealt a hand of cards in life and have to play the hand I have and it was tough at first with the stares but now I don't pay attention to them.I hate having to get rid of the Vacuums I love but,there heavy for me..I need a good self-propelled Vacuum and I am keeping one of my Riccar supra lite because it will run right across the room.The rest will be sold I have a old Eureka 5071 Esp that is selfpropelled and cant use it because when its off I cant get it in neutral..I am sure guys in here have seen the striped worm gear or the plastic gears that are on that very hard to fix axle. They are making some great prosthetics for hip dis that will work but that is about 4 years off I have been told.I will get walking again but until I can walk I will try to keep just two or three,which will be very hard for me.I want to fix the nicks in my Synergy but,god knows how much that will cost me.I know my Aunt did that on purpose but she is just a mean witch who hates everybody cause a house fell on her Sister. Yes she thinks gays should be put to death.She is Evil and hateful she thinks the gays caused 9/11 and she is a Fred Phelps but in Drag I guess.I can't wait till Sat night she will love her gift of lesbian porn,dildo,crop,and still thinking on what else.I am a loving guy and have christian friends even I am nice to folks that are nice to me but I also don't ever back down and be run over..Sorry about my grammer folks I am gifted in Math and Science but my 8 year old nephew english home work would stump me.I just can't get it.........WES

Though this "Aunt" has done you wrong, doing wrong to her is not the answer.

If you let hate and bigotry consume you, you become them. Though it is difficult, take the higher road; treat her with kindness, treat her with love--make her your "favorite Aunt". It will kill her in the end.

You know what they say. "Keep your friends close, and your enemys closer." This has a lot of merit as it is more difficult to be nasty to someone that you are close to.

P.S. This goes for nasty neighbors as well. If a neighbor is nasty to me, I bake them a cake, take them cookies.

as for the vacuum. You don't have to vacuum from crutches. My mother sits in her wheelchair and backs out of the room as she sweeps. If you don't have a wheelchair you can use a regular chair, it just involves more ups and downs.

I mis read or my brain isnt working lol. I was thinking thinking your prvious amp was above the knee. Above knee is "usually" less septable to spurrs so I think you will feel alot better after recovery. As far as the vacuum,I hope its not to expensive to fix but if it is like I said before, mos people won't care about a few scratches if they are in search of a "used" vacuum. Looking at the pic above I cant even see the scratces.

Being Gay is Wonderful unless

you live in a small town like I do. Most everybody in this town (population 3,500) likes me. I come from a very highly respected family. My mom is very well known here ( she is the church administrator, and Organist) anyway I have been caused a lot of pain lately because I am Gay. Somebody put my Phone number on a few Bathroom walls in town, and because it was my number, the prosecuting attorny is trying to run me up the river so to speak. My mom is quite elderly she is almost 81. I was going to tell her all about this situation after it was over. But no, somebody put it in a big article in the paper and mother read it. Needless to say she was dumfounded. Yes Mom knows I am Gay, but we don't talk about it.I am the baby of the family and the only child she has left(my only brother was murdered 14 years ago at thanksiving.) so mother tends to over protect me.Since she is of the old school way of thinking I was just sure if she didn't have a heart attack reading about me in the paper, she surely would disown me. But boy was I surprised when she said she would stand behind me all the way.. so you see my point is you have a lot of friends that accept and love you just the way you are.I wished all the people in this world could be as loving and understanding as the people in vacuumland. Okay I am going to get down from my soap box now! Thanks for letting me vent.... Dan
