Has anyone used any of the new Synchronies? I was thinking of purchasing this one? Any suggestions? I know they changed the style of the Symmetries, did they change anything on the tandem air models? Tom Gasko??

The changes came to the fan on the direct air motor (now made of Kirby fan material), the new MUCH longer hose and full length telescopic wand, and the new switch for the bare floor mode. If you are thinking of buying one, you can save enough money buying directly (in person) from the Factory Outlet Store, that it would pay for the entire trip to St. James. We are having the Vacuum Collector's Convention on the second weekend in June, here at the Museum and Factory. I know of at least ten people who are going to get a new 2014 model, at wholesale prices, during the Convention.

I have the Syncrony that is the mustard sort of color-very happy with it-got it from the dealer in my area-he did give me a good deal on the machine-the light on the carpet switch wasn't working even though the motor was.He brought the matter to the attention of Tacony and they sent a replacement machine-Works GREAT-this one is a favorite along with Kirby and metal Royal!What are the differences between the blue one and the sort of mustard one as I have?

What is the model and serial number of the mustard yellow machine you have? Tacony changed to that color before the revisions for 2014, but continued on with that color after the revisions, so the only way I'll know one you have is by model and serial number.

Tom, are the Riccar 8955's still available? I've always been curious to see how a clear air upright with double fans work? is the airflow way greater than a single fan? DO you think it cleans as well as a direct air or is the direct air/tandem air still a better cleaner? just asking because i have a high pile carpet in my home very plush and dense..
