New member here guys and I don't want to break any rules so let me know if I'm outta line. I've participated in like forums for my BBQ pation and I knew there had to be guys like me for BBQ out here for vacuums and I think I've found them. :)

I'm not a collector just a owner who likes to fix things. We've had the 7850 for 5-7 years and love it. Due to young boys growing up in this house I've replace the handle and power cord hooks (don't know if that is the proper term). I've paid to have the floor / tool switch (clutch switch I believe) fixed a couple times and wondering if a mechanically inclined guy like myself could do this repair. I have to tape the switch into the carpet position to keep brushes turning.

Any guidance would be appreciated folks.

P.S. again if I've broken rules or stepped outta line delete the post and I apologize.

I think that the fixing the brush would be pretty easy if you are mechanically inclined. Just be careful with what you are doing, and you should be fine. I have a 7350, and I have never had any problems with it.
