Show us the Kirby!

When the E Series Rainbow was launched to the distributors in 1998, I was there. We were NOT allowed to take pictures. If the VCCC wasn't allowed to take pictures of the factory making Sentria II's, do you think they'll allow pictures at the distributor's meeting?

When..

<span style="font-family: book antiqua, palatino;">When the Sentria II came out that was leaked to us on here the day before the distributor meeting.</span>

<span style="font-family: book antiqua, palatino;">I'm not saying that will happen again..lol</span>

The new Kirby will be an improved rebadged Riccar 8-lb Supralite vacuum with canister. Except the Riccar will be modified so that it can be used with a blender attachment. Will also be able to attach the carpet shampooer to the top rather than the front. I'd tell more, but the Kirby security force is pounding on my door...

So has..

Tacony teamed up with kirby? Ot is it just going to be similar? I'm so suprised that kirby is going from all metal and heavy to the other extreme.. An 8lb vacuum. Thanks for the update!!!

Blender attachment....sounds like it's time for the the KITCHENETTE! Kirby might not be crazy enough, but KSSRC sure is!

Tom, I'd love to see a Riccar build a birdhouse, then clean up it's own mess! Kirbeast for yesterday, Kirbeast for today, and Kirbeast for tommorrow! Kirbeast is the Kir-BEST!

Tolivac,I don't care if it's 3:57 in the morning here, that made me burst out laughing! I love it! Say hello to smoothies and juice, with your new DRINK-RENOVATOR!

to the Kirby fans, I'm sorry for the joke about the Riccar Supralite being the new Kirby. Certainly the Supralite is a modern direct air machine that cleans well. However, it doesn't have height adjustment, and it cannot be converted to canister mode, or run tools like a shampooer, so it could never be a Kirby.

After seeing the pics of the new Kirby, it's obvious that there are limits to how much you can change a Kirby and still have it be a Kirby. I don't think anyone would be happy with a Kirby version of the Royal Powercast. Perhaps someday they'll figure out how to add an optional bagless attachment. Would certainly be handy for the demos.
