It was nice. I explained what I said and meant no Ill intentions.
Just because our senior member things it was rude it wasn't.
I blocked luxflairguy who is always much ado about nothing.
In seriousness I wasn't rude I was trying to joke around . I wasn't out to be rude or idiotic.
You did nothing wrong in your post I guess I was too blunt explaining my post.
No it wasn't rude or in I'll contempt I promise you.
I just wanted to make sure I'm a good person who didn't try to hurt anyone's feelings.
I respect you as a poster and a member of the board.
Thanks
Les

I do remember hearing the Platinums were loud. I recall they came with a small canister with a shoulder strap very similar to how Orecks are paired.

The Hoover with the cord rewind and red/green indicator sounds like the one my mother bought a few years ago. It's called a Windtunnel 2 Whole House Rewind. She got it at Sears before they closed. I don't think it's that bad for something new at all. From what I read it isn't truly a Windtunnel design though.

That was actually the first machine I remember her ever buying brand new. The others from when I was born until then were mostly ex-demo/floor display units from Sears, although I believe she did buy one other brand new before I was around.

That T-series in blue is still on my list of vacuums to get, mainly the anniversary edition that has the dirt sensors, the propulsion, and all the doodads. I really like that vac. A lot of people complained about it because they don't realize it's meant to be a throwback to the first Windtunnel - a heritage edition basically.

I don't have photos handy of the Windtunnels I have but I have the first one that was recalled for having handle switch fires (mine never has), and I have a 2018 model that the seller said was broken but was vague about what was broke on it and the motor caught fire and blew out my circuit breaker when I tested it.

Oh I also have a 2016 model Windtunnel pet model too. I just need a bin latch for it and then it is good to go.

I might have a couple more not mentioned that I might not realize are part of the Windtunnel model series.
