As many of you know me will kbow that I love Hoovers and they are my main interest and make up the majority of my collection. Today I thought I would bring down all my Hoovers to see how many I actually had (13) and I thought I would take a photo since I had them out.
This is my current Hoover collection and will probably continue to grow.
Please show me your HOOVERS.
Here are mine, in date order.

I don't know ...

... I just don't think Hoover has made a truly quality product since the Decade 80. And even those I wasn't terribly impressed with. I miss the Convertible!

Matt...

I agree, most of their uprights (at least on this side of the pond) after 1983 were not that well built, they did make a come back with the Turbopower 2 that is one of the sturdiest all plastic vacuums I have used. The Elites were not all that sturd, but acceptable. The windtunnels (at least the one I used was very creaky and groany.[this post was last edited: 7/6/2013-14:33]

George...

Argh!! I knew I forgot one, I was stood there ready to take the photo an I thought there was something I forgot. I do still have that, I find it very difficult to get rid of any vacuum that has those 6 wonderful letters on! Ha!

Hi-lo, yes it's not bad. Filter does not clog very easily unlike lots of pleated filters.
Hose is stretch and is very long
Telescopic Handle can be removed and used as an extension pipe
Long enough cable
OK brushroll

Thanks again Alex.

There is actually a story behind that Convertible. I had been looking for that model for a while, and when I finally found it, I couldn't pass it up. The only way anyone could take it away from me would be to pry it from my cold dead fingers. :-)
