It is not. That was rebuilt during the time the Olympia One was sold and then passed off as an Olympia One at vac shops for more money.

I love these

Here's mine. It is my favorite (running) Electrolux. It is a weird one, the blue part is textured like a later model. The suction is fantastic!

This was a junk shop find with no tools or hose. I got the one piece pn1 from a g with it, but need an electric hose.

“Passed off as an Olympia 1 at vac shops for money”???

Highly doubtful.
This is a factory rebuilt, repainted in the color of the Model which was considered to be current at the time of its rebuild. Kirby did the same thing with their rebuilds. This is why there’s DS80’s in blue. They were rebuilt during the era of the Tradition. Vac shop owners are/were far too busy maintaining their customer base to try and fleece anyone in a manner which you have suggested. Vac shop owners aren’t that diabolical....

I have a Classic 1CR where they changed the trim to look like a Tradition. At least it sort of resembles the Tradition with the 16 inch nozzle. I don't any vac shop today would bother trying to make a Generation 3 look like an Avalir 2.

I've seen 1205s repainted in Silverado gray before. This is the first one I've seen in Olympia brown. But yeah, that's most likely a factory rebuild. I do not believe the intent was to deceive unwitting buyers but to offer an alternative to the 'latest and greatest' for budget conscious buyers.

Brown 1205

While some vac shops would repaint to make a vac look better this has white trim under handle and brown front cover from factory rebuild.Should have a metal plate on side with 2 rivets or rectangular sticker inside bag door. There were many brown and then gray G,L & 1205 factory rebuilts. The last were Super J & Olympias as HPR(High Performance Rebuilt)to match Diamond Jubilee.

That would have been a lot of work to repaint. Plus, the plastic trim pieces wouldn't have matched, the hose may not have matched.... power nozzle?

They probably found it just wasn't worth the effort after a while.

Of course, Sears used to sell new power nozzles in the catalogs, but that's just plug and play.
