Most of us probably do remember the blue Shop Vac Easy Lift that came out about 10 years ago. Fast forward a few years later, the blue Easy Lift was discontinued but they came out with the another model that's exactly the same vacuum as the Easy Lift but black in color, commercial grade, and it was called the Industrial. Between the two of these, I like the color of the Industrial version better and I bet the cord is even longer too (haven't seen it myself yet). But recently, I just discovered that Shop Vac came out with their newest Industrial version and I guess I would call it the third generation of the "Easy Lift" uprights.

Interesting!

It's a shame they didn't do away with that Fill tube hose on the side. It seems wasteful and like it'd get caught on things due to careless cleaners. Which probably means it's also using the bottom fill bags they used before. The really interesting thing here is that it uses a switched reluctance motor. I cannot help but wonder how it performs.

A few years ago spotted a vacuum sort of like this-by shop-Vac at Lowes. This new one is sort of interesting.9.4A is powerful for a light, compact upright vacuum-and glad it uses bags.Would like to see and try one before buying.Usually one does not associate Shop-Vac with upright style vacuums.

I had one of those Easy Lift uprights. It was a decent Oreck clone at a much lower cost. It had LED headlights and a stiff brush. The handle snapped off at the base on mine, so I no longer have it.
