Shipping a Hoover 825 and an Air-way

It would be best to ship the Hoover in two boxes: One for the handle and one for the main unit. This reduces shipping costs and makes packaging much easier.
If you take the traditional route and use a 4 Foot tall box, ungodly amounts of packing material are required and the price of shipping goes way up. I shipped out a Model 28 and Model 62 using the two box method and they arrived fine.
As for the Air-Way, I'm not really familar with them. So, I couldn't really help you with that one.

The handle on the Air-Way Sanitary System is removable. You MUST use a heat gun first to heat the metal that the handle slips into. Not difficult, but you will break/crack it if you do not use a heat gun on the metal first. Heat gun on HI, heat up the metal (with screw removed) until the handle starts to move back and forth slightly. Turn off the heat gun, and pull the handle straight UP without wiggling it. It will come out and all will be undamaged. Protect the indicator over the fan (I'd remove it and ship it in a coffee can with packing, all by itself).

With most things you need to think how were they shipped when they left the factory.On both remove the bags.Hoover-remove handle. AirWay-remove floor nozzle(gently & carefully unscrewing threaded ring).
