My days that looks fantastic I want one as they come to the UK I will buy one at any Price. How does the quality feel feel cheap or does it feel like it can last a long time what guaranteed do you get with it and how much it cost???

It has a 7-year warranty on it -
I have to say that my initial impression is that it seems to be very well made…
Only time will tell, but I will give it a work out -
I love the idea of an Electric Mini Pet Brush - I really wanted it for that a reason - That and the lift away will make doing all of our carpeted stairs very easy...

What a cool-looking vacuum!

Shark has really stepped up their game with this vacuum. This is arguably the most innovative vacuum ever created. I love the idea of it, being able to truly convert from an upright to a canister, with a powered brush roll and all! It'll be nice for getting around and UNDER furniture, the latter of which is an impossible feat with uprights.

This machine claims to have MORE SUCTION and BETTER CARPET CLEANING versus the $600 Dyson DC65?? This is madness! It amazes me that even Shark has bested Dyson's best of the best.

I, too, love the idea of a small, motorized power head. I don't think any vacuum manufacturer has produced any of these, with one exception. Back in the late '90s, Fantom Technologies released the Fantom Lightning canister vacuum. One optional accessory for that vacuum was a "Mini Powerhead" which featured a brush roll powered by its own independent motor. It's pretty cool that Shark is bringing back this design after all these years!

My only concern is that the vacuum is still single-cyclonic, meaning that it has to rely on the two filters behind the dust cup to trap the finer dust. The original Shark Navigator used 21-cyclone separation technology. However, starting with the Navigator Lift Away, they switched to single-cyclonic. Every Shark vacuum following the release of the Navigator Lift Away has included this technology. Why did they move to this design? I have no idea; you would have to ask Shark that.

That concern aside, enjoy your new Shark Rotator Powered Lift Away!

Motorized powerheads

Nick there has been quite a few brands with mini powerheads, Electrolux, Tristar (aerus owned), Rainbow, Filter queen had one at one point, Kenmore, panasonic. Silver king, patriot, simplicity and riccar Use a wessel werk HEB 160 There may be more i don't know about.

Back on topic though. It looks pretty nice for a modern vacuum, and pretty versatile as well.

While not the most innovative vacuum ever (Hoover Dial-A-Matic, for example) or the first 'powered lift-away' (Sanyo Transformomax, for example) or the first powered mini-nozzle since the 90s (Sears, Rainbow, etc), it is a neat vacuum! A little on the bulky side, but the design is very innovative!

I'm sure it's not the only thing out there that can out-clean a Dyson,Niclonnic! Not saying that the DC65 is absolutely terrible at cleaning carpets, but it still isn't the best...

Only time will tell is right, that 7 year warranty doesn't sound so nice when you're dealing with Shark's call center in India!

While it is true that many canisters have a mini electric power power nozzle for stairs and furniture, I think this shark is the first one in a long time to offer this in an upright… I think at one time there was a kenmore upright with and electric hose and electric mini power nozzle, but that was many, many years ago…

I also think that this is the only upright that ever had a detachable electric power nozzle on the wand like the shark does…

Tonight I shall clean and give it a little workout… Had meeting last night and was tied up…

Tell me about the switch on the handle

Obviously one of the switch settings is to turn off the brushroll, but do either of the settings reduce the motor speed for less suction? I'm sure there's a bleeder valve on the handle or the hose somewhere as on the other models, but it's still a lot of suction for some of my older rugs.

Oh this'll be fun, I can write a book about Jimmy's marketing ways, but I'll let Dan take a shot at this first!

I agree, Mark does it in a nice way. He offers you service with a smile, and goes the extra-mile (Or at least on the infomercials!). I have a few of them taped for years to come, who knows, 20 years from now these infomercials could be what Fantom's infomercials are now!

Marketing Waze I don't see anything wrong with them they are Just like any other commercial. Dark does it in a nice way. So you can tell this by watching infomercial I doubt that .

Still at the end of the day they are just trying to sell your product really want one of the sharks so badly
