We got a new Shark Rotator white and red upright at work and I used it the other day to do some dusting.
We already had an older purple and silver model. Which I had used before.
I have to say both are pretty nice for a new vacuum, although I haven't had to empty them or try cleaning the filters.
The new one seems a lot more swively than the old one though, a little too much IMO. Also I think the older one had a longer and easier to use hose. The new one seems to have a shorter harder to use hose, although I wasn't using it in lift away mode that this is probably meant to be used in, I was just using it still attached to the power nozzle. And I wasn't using the metal wand either, just had the dusting brush on the hose end. Red buttons release the want with hose attached or just the hose end. Another red button separates the suction unit from the power head.
The attachments are pretty much the same as the old one, although it also included a floor nozzle with microfiber pad. The dusting brush is a little loose in the swivel, but it's decently sized compared to other uprights and has decent bristles, not horsehair of course but not wire bristles either. The crevice tool is a decent length but I noticed it has vents in it.
I did not try to the turbo tools for either unit.
I guess my biggest thing is the power head on both have narrow cleaning paths, for a large room they would take a long time to clean. It seems almost as narrow as the brush on my tiny Eureka Boss Lite upright. However the brushroll seems to do a good job and also does a good job on bare floors with it turned off. I like the green indicator light both have also.
This style upright seems to be popular as now Hoover has similar models as does Kenmore.
