Because it's heavy, and I have stairs, and I need an upright, and 3 hours is too far to drive for service.

$1,100.00 OMG. I have the current model Rainbow and didn't pay nearly that much for it. Is any vacuum actually worth that much? Who has that kind of money?

is a bargain for a new Rainbow. Is that near wholesale?
That amount also almost buys a nice Canavac system.
One shop has Riccar and Simplicity premium models priced higher than Miele's.
Makes no sense. Miele's are marked up to make up for the exchange rate, transit, and they are still too high.

There's another Impeccable listed on starting at $799.99 and this seller has detailed pics showing off everything on the vacuum and it looks just like brand new, plus they can accept returns as well. I bet this Impeccable is no where in way much nicer condition than that other one. I rather bid on that other Impeccable than this one with no detailed pics and no returns.

The two

hig end Riccar's are heavy machines. I'd have opted for a Miele S8 (C3) Marin.
As for service for either, should be years off from now.
Bags and filters can be shipped to your front door.
