Mostly pre-war stuff, all in very nice completely usable condition. I tend to only buy and collect the best I can find. Everything will be going on eBay gradually as time permits, and will be listed as Buy It Now or Best Offer. Any reasonable offers are welcome and will be taken into consideration.

My current listings can be viewed by visiting the link below. Please contact me through eBay with any questions.

Thanks for looking.

Stan Kann was and extremely good friend of mine. I do not remember him ever having a general electric roll easy. I would have had to obtain bags for him if he had one. None of Stan's canisters had their original hoses. He didn't care anything about the hoses. He had a vinyl hose that he would use with all of his canisters. Also, Stan's model 12 Electrolux had a handle on it. I know that machine very well, since I helped him rebuild it. We repacked both the ball bearings one Sunday.

A good friend of mine attended an auction containing items from his estate and bought three machines there. Unless you personally cleared out his home and storage facilities, keep your comments to yourself. In fact, keep your comments to yourself anyway, and don't comment on my posts ever again. Clearly you didn't get the point last time I told you to "go eff yourself". Don't you have a "museum" to go "curate"?

To all of the sane people reading this: Take the provenance for what it's worth, at the end of the day I'm not asking for more money for the machines I obtained from this auction, so does it really matter?

Stan Kann and Vacs

First, I do not dispute the auction story but would be nice to know when it was and where vacs were stored.
Like many I was aware of SK through Tonight Show and I have a People magazine(1976?)he was in as well as a brief letter answering a question of mine.I recall he was briefly seen on a Ford 75th anniversary special.I also have a hand vac he had as well as Hoover items from a Canton OH Hoover estate auction. From knowing Tom I
met Stan and was in his basement more than once but not as often as Tom.He would have had perhaps hundreds of vacs over the years both from searching(there is a great story on the Hoover comm from the Masonic lodge) as well as those given to him.His personal collection was mostly uprights but with few attachment sets and as above few tanks or canisters. On one visit the 'vac of the month'in the upstairs pantry was a Filtex tank. And the classic car in the garage was a Continental Mark II with 1 inch of clearance front and rear in the 1920 style garage.
Brandon, you have some great vacs that deserve a good price from their new homes.
We might all remember that fairness, facts and manners could help us all with vac information. And yes Tom does have a museum that I have not seen in person but believe it to be one of the very best collections of all eras and models the can be seen as well as used.

I do not know specifically where the auction was, but it was in St. Louis and my friend who purchased them on my behalf knew Stan as a fellow organist. The complete Roll-Easy is now sold and the rest of my machines have been reduced in price even further.

Getting down to the last few items, priced to sell - make a reasonable offer and they will appear on your doorstep!
