Howdy vacuum friends!
Looks like a second chance on the Kirby 508 I posted about before, it's back up and ready for a new home!

From the listing:

"Upon quick visual inspection it was noted that there is soiling present possibly for normal use and/or storage. There are markings and scratches throughout. The power cord is taped up and bulb may need to be replaced. When tested it did power on, the brushes rotated, bag inflated no further testing was conducted. "

If you're living near the Michigan area or don't mind the shipping, this one's for you!

Others

I'm interested in parts of the vacuum. The bag definitely others maybe. If anyone lives close to Michigan and wants to sit costs or we both split costs I get the bag I'll ship you a black Kirby bag.
If interested please email me at [email protected]

I may get it if no one else does. The grip is off a 562, seeing as it has the rare sparkly dark brown color.

I placed a bid on it.

Les, I might take you up on your offer of 50/50 if you want to do that, I don't mind what color the bag is.

I don't need that, but I do need the belt lifter for mine. I have a *mint* 509-515 belt lifter if you would like to trade. No fading, dings, all the lettering is clear.

Btw that roller is metal and VERY rare, I would hang on to that if I were you and just service it instead of replacing.

Great! Just send me an email(shown in my profile). The belt lifter is pulled off a polisher that was never used, just sat in a box

Oh wow, I didn't know that would work. I seen a floor buffer and it looked like the same belt lifter, but I figured it wouldn't work because the floor buffer was different than the brushroll so I never got it.

I will let you know when I (hopefully) win it.

Metal

I second the brush roll being rare. If the adjustment screw notches is original and rare.

Sadly I will not be winning this. Whoever has bid on it, they placed an extremely high bid. I placed 7 bids and all were automatically outbid.
